Because of you and your generosity, #GivingTuesday has been a major success! In 24 hours, we received 14 donations, raised $1,907, and with matching donations our total impact is $3,814. Thank you so much for your donation and the impact this will have on our Ivy Tech Titan Baseball team. We truly appreciate you!
There is still time to share our project and spread the joy of giving on this #GivingTuesday. Thank you for your continued support for Ivy Tech Students!
There are a million little pieces that must come together to form an athletics program but one medium sized brown box caused quite the stir of excitement the other day....THE HATS ARRIVED!!
It is funny, but seeing the official Titan Baseball caps made it really set in. WE HAVE A BASEBALL TEAM!
...and obviously I couldn't be more excited.
Check out twitter.com/IvyTechBaseball to see our style and for updates on how our team is looking both literally and figuratively (spoiler alert: AWESOME)
If you really dig the look, keep an eye out this season for your special chance to buy an official Titans Baseball hat. All proceeds will benefit our baseball program.
Currently, we are at 18% of our goal to support our new team and I hope we can see 20% before next week with such excellent responses. The support for our community has been exceptional and it is going to be the great day the first time we see those new hats on the field and not just in a box!
If you happen to be on campus, and see Titans Baseball Biggest Fan signs on an office door, give them a high-five! I've been decorating the doors of our on-campus donors for easy identification of our fans for proper high-fiving and kudo-ing.
Let's keep the great momentum up so we can rock the diamond this spring. GO TITANS!
In honor of Lou Gehrig, the most famous firstbaseman, your gift is helping us get to first base with our program by providing one of the many essentials our players need.
Your team is up to bat and you have teammates on first, second, and third base. Your gift just paid for team batting helmets!
Barry Bonds holds the Major League Baseball home run record with 762. He passed Hank Aaron, who is currently second with 755, on August 7, 2007. The only other player to have hit 700 or more is Babe Ruth with 714.
In honor of our head coach, your gift covers the program costs of one player for the academic year.
