Fort Wayne - Hitting Homeruns for Student Success: Titan Baseball

Vision

Whether that goal is to get a good career fast, or to get a better, more affordable start to a bachelor’s degree by transferring credits on to a four-year school, Ivy Tech has been helping students define success for their own unique paths for over 50 years.  Under the leadership of Coach Hershberger, Titans Baseball hopes to provide a whole new opportunity for student athletes in Northeast Indiana by allowing them to develop their potential both on the field and in the classroom as they prepare for a future that is uniquely theirs.

By joining the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Ivy Tech Northeast will be able to provide student athletes the opportunity to develop under a collegiate athletic program with an affordable price tag, making the experience more accessible and providing an even broader range of opportunities for our regional athletes.

Goal

We have the talent and desire to build a championship winning program right here in Northeast Indiana for our student athletes.

Titan Baseball is 100% supported by sponsorships and individual donors and every contribution is an important one.  Your donations allow us to provide collegiate athletes with an affordable education while participating in a championship caliber athletic program.  We want to develop better students, better athletes, and better citizens through our academic and athletic programs and show the world what Indiana is capable of both on the field and off...and it is truly a community effort.

We know Titan Baseball can change lives and make Indiana great.   Come join our team!

Your Help

$120 Four dozen practice balls and we can never have enough practice...literally.

$280 For single uniform and apparently there are rules that say we have to dress all of them.

$450 Gets us a day's worth of team meals while traveling to that next game.  They get bitey when hungry.

$700 A season worth of game balls. Hopefully we lose most of them over the homerun fence.  (See practice balls above)

$2,500 An overnight trip for the team with charter, hotels, and food costs less then that all-inclusive cruise we all wish we were on.  Unless you are reading this while you are currently on an all-inclusive cruise and if so please go back to enjoying your vacation.

$3,200 Umpires for our home games this season.  We promise not to hire the blind ones.

$8,574.90 An entire team on the ball diamond representing Ivy Tech in their new uniforms!
