History of CRADLES
CRADLES, of Clay County, Inc. was established in 2014. The organization’s mission was to provide children with developmentally age-appropriate learning experiences while providing parents with the support they needed to further their education and/or continue in the workforce. After many years of service in the Clay County community, CRADLES dissolved in 2022. Through the generosity of the board of directors, the mission of CRADLES will carry on through the CRADLES Scholarship Endowment.
Continuing the Mission
The CRADLES Scholarship Endowment was established to continue the mission of CRADLES. Annually, the scholarship will provide support for Clay County residents to further their education through Ivy Tech Community College. Recipients of the scholarship can pursue a credential at either Ivy Tech Terre Haute or Ivy Tech Greencastle in any program. To be eligible for this scholarship students must reside in Clay County, Indiana, and have one or more dependents. The scholarship will automatically renew for two consecutive years to assist students through the completion of their degree.
