Meet Arica Jenkins
Allow us to introduce you to Arica Jenkins. Arica is attending Terre Haute and is a proud member of the ELEVATE scholar program. ELEVATE is the latest initiative of Bob & Terry Bowen to promote a diverse, educated workforce in Indiana. Arica hails from Georgia but has solidified her residency in Indiana and looks forward to graduation where she will remain in Terre Haute and work in healthcare. Arica is happily married and has three children. You can find her in the Ivy Tech library or her office that her husband built for her out of scholarship funding. Arica would like to thank you for your continued support of Ivy Tech!
Meet Kierstan and Darius Taylor
A warm winter welcome from your featured speakers, Kierstan and Darius Taylor. Kierstan and Darius are a power couple in the South Bend, Indiana area. When they were discussing their future and what that would look like, they decided on furthering their education. Kierstan already holds a Bachelor’s degree and Darius a successful partner in the community of manufacturing. They knew Ivy Tech was the place for them. After Kierstan experienced medical issues, Darius solidified their partnership with a forever promise. Now they are philanthropically driven in their own right. Darius is hopeful to join the fire department upon graduation this spring, and Kierstan will be pushing forward to law school at Indiana University. They would like to thank you for your partnership and dedication to Ivy Tech.
