Our Crowdfunding Groups
We need more outlets to keep our students powered up and ready to learn! As students are increasingly using mobile devices we find students seated in hallways near outlets and looking for places to charge those devices.
The Mobile Device Charging Station's are designed to increase student satisfaction, connection to campus, and promote use of technology for learning. With the trend in online materials becoming more popular, and digital copies of books being available in many courses, a greater number of students are being led to utilize those mobile devices for learning. In addition to online texts and materials, students use mobile apps for logging into Blackboard, accessing email, studying specific concepts, and creation of digital flashcards.
Currently, we have two Charging Stations installed on the main Terre Haute campus. With your help, we hope to raise enough funds to purchase an additional two Charging Stations so more students will have access to this resources. By supporting this project, you have the potential not only to increase student satisfaction and promote use of technology for learning, but also to increase interactions with other resources on campus.
