The Tyler Hightower Automotive Scholarship honors the life and passion of Tyler, a dedicated automotive student who loved working on cars and dreamed of building a career in the industry. Though his life was cut short, his love for the trade continues to open doors for others.

 Created by Tyler’s family in his memory, this scholarship helps aspiring automotive students at Ivy Tech Community College in Sellersburg pursue the same opportunities he valued. Many students entering technical careers face financial barriers that traditional aid does not cover. This scholarship provides critical support for tuition, books, fees, and essential tools, helping students stay enrolled, complete their training, and launch meaningful careers.
