In Memory of Dr. John Poling
Dr. John Maurice Poling (1936–2026) was a longtime Bloomington optometrist who served his community with dedication and care for more than five decades. A graduate of Indiana University’s School of Optometry, he built a respected practice while remaining deeply committed to the well-being of others.
John and his wife, Joyce, shared a lifelong commitment to their community and to advancing higher education through philanthropy. His generosity and service, including work with local scholarship efforts, reflected his belief in expanding educational opportunities for future generations.
