This fundraiser is in loving memory of Stanford Ray Tyler, a truly cherished and impactful individual who passed away on May 28, 2025. Stan was known for his infectious laughter, warm smile, and joyful spirit, touching the lives of all who knew him. For over 50 years, Stan dedicated his career as a Certified Cardiographic Technician, where he not only provided compassionate patient care but also passionately trained and mentored countless others, leaving a profound legacy of knowledge. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he enriched.
Throughout his distinguished career, Stan served as a preceptor for many Ivy Tech students. It's therefore fitting to create a legacy where his passion continues to impact future graduates in a field he loved. Many aspiring sonography students face significant financial barriers to completing their education and entering this vital healthcare profession. The funds raised will directly support fees for professional certification exams (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography - ARDMS, or Cardiovascular Credentialing International - CCI) for deserving students in the Sonography program, specifically those on the Cardiac and Vascular tracks, helping them overcome these hurdles and launch their careers.
