Who We Are
In support of the Ivy Tech Community College RISE Entrepreneur Program, the Entrepreneur Advisory Board and Entrepreneur Alumni Association have joined forces to raise funds for our students and their startups. This team effort not only includes these two outside entities, but the students, faculty, and staff as well.
The Challenge
In addition to having a stellar curriculum, mentors, and a well-developed ecosystem, we also need to assist with pre-seed funding to help jump start some of our startups. The funding that we provide for our students will assist with the initial needs that are critical to a startup (e.g. business cards, website, legal fees, marketing, insurance, prototyping, etc.). This will get them the traction they need as a startup which will enable them to seek additional funding from banks, investors, and/or venture capitalists. Our current goal is to fund those students who are graduating between this May and July 2021 from the entrepreneur program.
Your Help
Your support of the program from either of these levels will enable us to provide the pre-seed funds for our students who are graduating this May and July 2021. This campaign will allow you to donate anything from $5 up to $204. You may choose any block you want. Choose your birthday or anniversary or the date you graduated, make it fun for you!

The Entrepreneur Program
The Entrepreneurship Program at Ivy Tech offers students practical lessons in business start-up and management through our partnership with the Regional Innovation and Startup Education (RISE). With RISE, students will build ecosystems, create a business model canvas, work with a mentor, and learn from and network with guest speakers and entrepreneurs. Students will also have the opportunity to pitch to investors for funding for their business. To date, the entrepreneurship program has assisted in the launching of many business ventures across Indiana.
Through the Entrepreneurship program, students will gain insight into starting a new business or making their current business more successful. Additionally, the Entrepreneurship program partners with many locally owned independent businesses and nonprofit agencies that are dedicated to helping small business through education and mentoring.
Our Graduates
Graduates of the Entrepreneurship program have a solid foundation for starting a small business or running an existing business more effectively. This program is largely taught by local entrepreneurs, so graduates are learning from experienced teachers. Graduates can take their business concept from idea to launch using the tools provided by our program.
