During this unprecedented time, it has become increasingly important to have the flexibility to access unrestricted funding to quickly respond to the ever changing needs on our campus. Projects that have been identified and sit outside our regular budget include: internet hotspots for students with limited broadband access; structural changes on campus to provide safe, social-distanced classroom space; laptop head phones and cameras for faculty, staff, and students to better participate in classes and meetings through Zoom; and virtual events like our popular etiquette dinner.
This amount could pay for a student's tank of gas, or purchase a webcam for a student transitioning to online classes.
An investment in our campus community will provide lasting impact during this pandemic.
Help support needed changes on campus to provide safe, social-distanced classroom space.
