In honor and celebration of Bonnie's impact on the Ivy Tech dual credit program throughout her 24 year tenure with the college, please join us in contributing to this scholarship fund designed to support her beloved students in our Dual Credit Program. Bonnie's dedicated service to our students is immeasurable, and her mentorship is enduring. In a recent stay at IU/Ball Memorial Hospital, former students who are now working healthcare professionals in our community continuously stopped in to check on her. They all shared stories about how much she helped them accomplish their educational goals.
In the many years that Bonnie has served Ivy Tech, her influence reached countless students, not just as the K-12 Director but also as a faculty member in Psychology and Computer Sciences. As a faculty member, Bonnie’s students often praised her personal touch and time spent with them that went far above and beyond the call of duty. In all of her roles, Bonnie’s care and concern for her students, matched with a commitment to helping them navigate complex systems, not only helped them reach their educational goals but also provided them with a strong role model they trusted to guide them to excel.
Your support of the Bonnie Willy Scholarship Fund will assist dual credit students who are working hard to complete an Ivy Tech certificate, or become an Ivy Tech student upon graduating from high school, and your contribution will help to ensure this special population of students continues to be served by the type of wrap-around support Bonnie believes is essential to their success and well-being.
To recognize Bonnie's commitment to our campuses, we are raising funds to initiate an endowed scholarship for Dual Credit students to continue their education at Ivy Tech Community College upon completion of High School. Together we can make a difference and change the lives of our students and their families for the better. The value of education is priceless and YOU can be a part of offering that to Ivy Tech students.
