The Challenge

In today’s world, we are offered choices at every turn. Do we buy vanilla ice cream or chocolate or one of 53 other flavors? Do we choose to watch a movie, a home improvement show, or a sports event on TV?

The Ivy Tech Foundation understands this and knows that when you make an unrestricted gift to the college you are showing your confidence and trust in our faculty, students, and staff.  In essence, the donor is saying “yes” to the work we do.

The Need

Unrestricted giving is critical to almost every non-profit.  At Ivy Tech Richmond, unrestricted gifts provide us the ability to be nimble when student, faculty, or programmatic opportunities arise during the course of the year.  These types of gifts may also be kept aside to meet any critical emergency needs that come along.

We carefully plan ahead, considering every possibility, yet, issues and opportunities can appear at a moment's notice.  Whether it's equipment that needs to be repaired or a sudden programmatic need, a scholarship, or emergency assistance to a student, unrestricted giving answers the need.
