This alignment is multifaceted in providing commensurate state of the art equipment in our classrooms/labs, skilled faculty updated in latest technologies, and providing a positive learning environment. We rely heavily on industry partnerships, individual and corporate financial support, local, state, and federal grants to access the resources necessary to equip our labs and provide professional development to our faculty. Thank you for your support of our students as they work to achieve their education and career goals without the burden of financial barriers.

School of Arts, Sciences and Education

The School of Arts, Sciences, and Education offers opportunities for students to complete a workforce credential or transfer to a four-year institution. One of the most exciting components to these opportunities is the Transfer as a Junior program. In this program, students can complete two-year degrees in Education, Biology, Chemistry, or Psychology at Ivy Tech and then transfer as Juniors to any public, four-year institution in Indiana. Your contributions to the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education create the foundation on which we are able to build these and other strategic initiatives. We thank you for your help in creating sustainable support for our students as they work to achieve their career and education goals without the burden of financial barriers.

School of Public Affairs and Social Services

Students in the Criminal Justice and Human Services programs can earn credentials to directly enter the workforce or transfer to a four-year institution. Within the Criminal Justice program students receive training utilizing crime lab and crime scene investigation equipment, a situational training simulator and facility tours. Graduates in the Human Services program complete the degree with 320 hours of internship experience and if desired can specialize in social work or addition studies. Your support to these programs will allow such valuable experiences to continue. Whether a student chooses to enter the workforce or continue his/her education, these experiences are invaluable to their future success.

School of Health Sciences

Especially now, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare employment remains a need in our community. The School of Health Sciences programs at the Ivy Tech Terre Haute campus are proud of the direct, hands-on skills learning and practice opportunities that are provided to students.  In order to keep providing these opportunities, we strive to emulate the equipment used in the clinical setting as often as possible.  As technology continues to evolve, the purchase of new equipment is a challenge to keep up with in some of our programs. You can help be part of our students’ success by contributing to our School of Health Sciences!
