IVY POWER will EMPOWER individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve a higher level of education thus improving their employability. Research has
shown that participation in higher education not only improves social awareness and confidence for these individuals but also their ability to obtain and sustain meaningful employment.
This program will offer:
Participant immersion in the college experience with social, emotional, and educational experiences.
Participant opportunity to engage in coursework and/or internships relevant to their future career goals.
A unique opportunity for the Ivy Tech Community to serve a more diverse population!
